"What Makes You Laugh" is a summer camp like no other - comedy and improv, skill-building and sessions in voice, movement, soundscape, writing, research and special missions. Find out what it takes to turn an idea into a scene, then a scene into a performance – and make an ENTIRE AUDIENCE laugh until milk comes out their noses.*

Kate Hurman and Make Work Theatre
Kate is an award winning professional actor, director, writer and teacher with over thirty years of experience in the field of theatre creation. She has worked for theatres across the country including the Stratford Festival, the Citadel, MTC, TFT, the NAC, and GCTC. She has taught drama and voice at the college and university level including the University of Ottawa, St. Lawrence College and Algonquin and to students of all ages at the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama, and in the public and private educational systems. Make Work Theatre develops new work for the stage and educational opportunities in theatre with elementary and high schools students.
